Shoes for Hope

Homeless men & women are always in great need of adequate shoes as walking is often their only mode of transportation. Many they encounter need boots for work. Foot infections are a HUGE problem for the homeless but a 100% solvable by providing clean socks and well-fitting shoes!

Norma Cope and her sister, Charity Jones, want to thank everyone for their help to bring awareness to their cause.  Below is a message from Norma:

My Soul (Sole) Sister and I, Charity Jones worked together with ministry on one of their many projects. While working in homeless encampments we noticed the dire need for shoes. Most of the people living in these encampments were either barefoot, wearing only socks or wearing their “holy” shoes. We saw the need and it brought us to where we are now. The story is pretty simple.. two sole sisters working together with our community to bring Hope.  Shoes for Hope… Shoes to Cope project. We now have several who have join in and we now have a tribe. As we continue to visit the encampments and share our hugs, smiles and hope we will continue to hold drives for various needs.

With the communities help our aim is to show the citizens of our community there is someone who loves you, all while giving hope and inspiration during a difficult time. We like to let them know that their situation doesn’t have to be permanent and hold on to Hope! It’s our way of holding down our little corner of the world as we try to make it a better place.

Brookhaven Country Club

Brookhaven Country Club, located in Farmers Branch, a suburb of Dallas, Texas, was founded by Robert Dedman Sr. as an affordable family golf and country club, and that vision still rings true today. As his first golf course design project, golf legend Byron Nelson worked with Press Maxwell on the Brookhaven greens in 1958.

Cassidy Kennedy

Cassidy Kennedy is an award winning actress, anchor for the local branch of the multinational news organization “The Lookout” and proponent for heightened awareness surrounding human trafficking, domestic violence, and prisoner rehabilitation reform.

A survivor of human trafficking herself, she has used these experiences to enhance her voice and put survivors, lawmakers, and in some cases documentary film makers in contact to elicit effective change in real time.

She will be in attendance covering the E3 action with the savvy Joshua Thomas, be sure to stop by and let them know how YOUR E3 experience was!

API’s Bulldog Catering

API Private School

Advanced Preparatory International (API) is a private high school that offers full service educational programs for ninth through twelfth grades with post-graduation support. API incorporates within its programs flexible scheduling, college credit hours, internships, and individualized instruction. Graduation requirements are aligned with the required course list of the State of Texas. Students are offered the opportunity to complete a coherent sequence of courses consistent with the State of Texas HB5 endorsements in the areas of business/industry and multi-disciplinary studies.

An exceptional opportunity offered at API is its competitive basketball program that participates nationally where multiple media outlets are present. Plans are in the works to offer a full range of sports for all students.

API recently began the development of its Entrepreneurship Program. In an effort to teach student greater 21st century skills API has opened “Bulldog Catering”. Students learn firsthand how to organize and manage a business as well as the skill set required to make a profit. Students experience innovative practices and risk-taking, the essential part of business, in an ever changing and increasingly competitive global marketplace.

Clint Fuqua

Clint Fuqua is an accomplished Certified Health Coach and Personal Trainer with over two decades of experience, including specialized training in the areas of corporate wellness, sports nutrition, and exercise biomechanics.

He has been an executive and formulation specialist with a nutritional supplement company, Personal Training Certification Instructor, and the Strength and Conditioning Director for the Dallas Heroes Basketball Academy.

Clint has created programs for athletes, small businesses, and many people just wanting to improve their health so they can live a long and quality filled life.

Clint hosts the nationally syndicated “Personal Health Care Reform” Talk Show and published a book series by the same name while writing for multiple publications to help everyone learn the best ways to get and stay independently healthy for life.

Steven Jeffers Photography

Steven Jeffers is a professional freelance photographer in the Dallas / Fort Worth Metroplex. Primarily focusing on Wedding, Portrait and Event Photography in North Texas Region, however he will travel the world to document cherished moments in the lives of his clients. Along with Weddings and Events, he provides Portrait and Headshot Photography, Travel and Landscape Photography and Commercial Photography services.

Throughout his life, he has found that being able to capture special and exciting moments photographically actually inspires him to live a fuller and more exciting life. Memories are so much more potent when you have beautiful photographs to reminisce over. All of his fondest moments will be with him for the rest of his life because he was there with his camera, at the time that they happened. His goal is to provide the same thing for you!

He wears his heart on his sleeve and he loves people! One of his favorite things about doing what he does is meeting and getting to know new people. He genuinely care about delivering you the best service that he possibly can!

Night of Superstars

Night of Superstars was founded by Greg Johnson in 2005. The event began as a small event with 12 Superstars and 100 guests at a small dinner theater. The event was intended to be a one time event. However, due to the overwhelming popularity, Night of Superstars has now grown 10 times that size, and launching in other cities throughout the U.S.!
